What is it?
Positive Contact™ teaches you to find moments of healing and enjoyable
contact through shared movement with a friend or partner to build
healthy connection. It
is a highly effective way to stretch and exercise using physical
contact. It's healthy fun that builds communication and healthy
friendship.

hooping, it doesn't feel like work, it's play. You learn how to practice
safely and to communicate your needs to your practicing partners.
Positive Stretch™ requires minimal effort and offers high
health benefits. You and your partner both receive benefits at the same
time. That's why we call it a "win-win" massaging stretch.
For
many, exercise can seem like a lot of effort and when you are tired,
that's just not appealing. Full Motion's goal is sharing fun and
enjoyable ways to get healthy. You will be surprised at how easy this is
and how energized you feel after practicing. You use it to build
energy.
What's it like?
Positive Contact™ is a fun way to move that combines stretching, resting,
relaxing and playing. It looks at times like contact improvisation, Thai
Yoga Bodywork, acrobatic play and yoga. While it was inspired by those
practices, you don't have to know a thing about them to get started.
Allyson breaks it down to make it inviting and help you learn
quickly. Positive Stretch™ is unique in that you adapt it to entirely
suit your needs and fitness abilities.
How does stretching get me in top shape?
The
masters in health teach that all energy in the body must be flowing
smoothly to allow the body to function at its peak. I discovered this by
accident when I was too ill to jog or dance. I could only do sitting
partner stretches and solo floor stretches. I got healthier than ever
before and realized I was exercising every part of my body while I was
relaxing it, and that is the secret. Hooping was a great discovery for Allyson in her training and exercise; it's great when she wants to exercise on her own. Positive Contact™, a mindful physical contact stretch is amazing because of the way it reaches, strengthens, soothes and calms every muscle and joint in a way that no other exercise can.
How do I know if it's right for me?
You practice in
levels and you only do what you enjoy. Level One is very safe and easy
while reaping great benefits. No acrobatics here, just fun soothing
stretches. You can proceed to higher levels of difficulty in class if
you like or stay with Level One. You still get great benefits. The
difference between this and other exercise programs is
you completely adapt the movements to your desires and needs. It's easy
and is intended to soothe and relax your body while toning and making
it stronger.
Genuine
respect will come about if we have more contact with one another and
come to understand each other’s values. This is how we will develop
